Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your browsing and purchase of handloom sarees on the Sringaram digital storefront. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms in accordance with Indian e-commerce and consumer protection regulations.
1. Business Identity & Scope
This website (sringaram.com) is owned and operated by Sringaram Handloom Textiles Pvt Ltd (operating under the registered brand name Sringaram Luxury Sarees), with its registered office located at Heritage Weaving Enclave, Cochin, Kerala, India.
Throughout these Terms, the words "we", "us", and "our" refer to Sringaram Luxury Sarees, and "you", "customer", or "buyer" refers to any person browsing our catalog or purchasing sarees through this storefront.
2. Eligibility to Transact
By placing an order on Sringaram, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are under 18, you may purchase only under the direct supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Placing Orders & Contract Formation
Order as an Offer: Placing an order through our checkout constitutes a formal offer to purchase the selected saree(s).
Contract Conclusion: A binding contract of sale is concluded only when we verify inventory availability and issue an electronic Order Confirmation containing your unique tracking link and order reference.
Single-Piece & Limited Handloom Batches: Because authentic handlooms are produced in small artisan quantities, pieces are allocated on a first-confirmed basis. In the rare event that a saree sells out before payment confirmation, our system automatically alerts you and initiates a prompt 100% refund to your original payment source.
4. Handloom Craftsmanship & Color Reproduction
Sringaram specializes in genuine South Indian handlooms woven on traditional pit looms and hand-shuttles.
- Inherent Craft Characteristics: Minor slubs, subtle unevenness in yarn spacing, small selvedge knots, and delicate dye batch variations are authentic hallmarks of genuine hand-woven textiles, not manufacturing defects.
- Photographic Representation: All drapes are photographed under true-color studio lighting. However, variations in individual smartphone screens, OLED displays, and monitor calibrations may cause slight differences in perceived color temperatures.
5. Pricing, GST & Invoicing
All product prices on our storefront are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of all applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) under Indian tax laws.
Delivery charges (where applicable) and available promotional discounts are clearly computed and itemized prior to final payment authorization. A tax invoice with statutory HSN codes (e.g., HSN 5007 / 5208) is generated and made available on your private order page upon dispatch.
6. Payment Methods & Security
We accept prepaid transactions via UPI, credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay), net banking, and select digital wallets through Razorpay.
Where Cash on Delivery (COD) is enabled by our settings for your destination PIN code, payment must be made in full via cash or authorized mobile UPI to the courier delivery executive upon physical delivery of the sealed parcel.
7. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
All customer cancellations, returns, and refund requests are governed strictly by our comprehensive Refunds & Returns Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms:
- Self-Service Cancellation: Permitted within 12 hours of placing your order, provided the saree has not already shipped.
- 7-Day Return Window: Eligible on unworn, unwashed, unaltered sarees with original atelier tags intact within 7 days of delivery.
- Non-Returnable Items: Sarees with custom blouse stitching, attached fall/pico, or evidence of wear cannot be returned.
8. Shipping & Risk of Loss
Orders are dispatched via insured express courier partners across India and worldwide in accordance with our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Risk of loss and title for ordered items pass to you upon successful delivery by the carrier to your specified address or authorized recipient against signature/OTP.
9. Intellectual Property & Brand Assets

10. Warranties & Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian consumer laws, Sringaram provides its website and products with statutory guarantees of authenticity and merchantability.
